i have 2 15" solo baric l7 kickers to fit in my 1996 camaro and i was wondering if anyone had plans or have made a box for one before cause im not sure if i should port it, divide it, or what and it would really make everything easier if i had some kind of clue of what im doing so any kind of help would be nice.
I have a single 12" solo baric L7 and the enclosure is sealed - it sounds awesome so from my experience I wouldn’t recommend porting it. I guess somone may disagree if there’s 2 in a box though?
I’d divide the box as it can also act as a strengthening brace seeing as the subwoofers are pretty big & heavy!

alright making fiberglass subwoofer box, after i put the fabric on, wat liquid do i put over it to make it hard?
also wat is the body filler called? (the putty put on after the MDF)
the fabric is a cheap fleece material that is stretched over the frame. You saturate the fleece with fiberglass resin mixed with it’s hardener. The resin is saturated with a paint brush and you let it set until it dries. (drying time is dependent upon the mix ratio). Once the fleece has hardened, you begin to layer fiberglass mat with more resin, building layer upon layer.
Very important, make sure you wear a good quality respirator, and make sure you have acetone on hand in the event your hands or skin gets in contact with the resin. Always wear gloves and make sure you stock up on cheap paint brushes, you’re going to go through a lot.
Once you reach the desired thickness you can begin to apply auto body filler and sand it smooth. Most either carpet, or paint the project.
Best of luck.
