Ok i have 2 12 inch subs(perfectly wired), Hifonics Amp (also tested another alpine amp). and a 0 gauge wiring kit. My power wire was tested with a voltmeter and showed power from the other end, so did the remote wire. The ground worked perfectly but when we tested the rca’s for a voltage reading there was a really really small reading like my friend works at best buy and said thats not normal. the subwoofer you could feel that it moved a little but nothing compared to what it should be doing, so you think its the rca cables that are giving me trouble.?
please reply if you had this problem and know what your talking about( i had a sub system b4 and worked fine, this wirings new so i dunno)
thanks

find an rca to 1/4" plug .. plug the rcas to the amp input and plug the 1/4" to an mp3 player or any portable audio source to test the amp . make sure you start the source at the lowest volume. if the system plays well then it is either bad rca cables or your radio outputs.
